"The Making of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'" is a half hour documentary that goes behind the scenes of the creation of this 1965 classic animated television special that won an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award. It includes interviews with the producer, Lee Mendelson, and the animator, Bill Melendez, as well as interviews with five of the original cast members who were 6 to 9 years old in 1965 and who are now in their forties. Past interviews with the late "Peanuts" creator, Charles Schulz, and with the late composer, Vince Guaraldi, are also included.
